KB Solveathon Tournament 2022 Results

Orientation

November 18(Fri) 2022, 2PM ~ 6PM | KB Kookmin Bank Headquarters(Yeouido)

On November 18, 2022, one week before the main rounds, an orientation was held at the KB Financial Group Headquarters (Yeouido). Contestants learned how to develop better solutions and prepared for the tournament through mock debates and discussions.

Training Camp for Octofinals

November 24(Thu) ~ November 26(Sat), 2022 | KB Insurance Ingenium(Suwon)

A intensive training camp was held from November 24 to 26, 2022 for 3days at the KB Insurance Ingenium(Suwon). Before the octo finals, contestants trained together by participating in CEO lectures, debate workshops, and ice-breaking activities.

Quarterfinals - Online Vote

November 28(Mon), 2022, 9AM ~ 6PM | 2022 KB Solveathon Competition Homepage

The quarterfinals were held on November 28, 2022, from 9AM to 6PM. Qualifying teams competed in an Idea Battle under four different themes, where they would debate their solutions in pairs. KB Financial Group employees voted to select the best solution for each theme.

Semifinals and Grand Final

December 1(Thu), 2022, 10AM ~ 2PM | KB Kookmin Bank Headquarters(Yeouido)

The semifinals and finals were held on December 1, 2022, for the four teams that prevailed in the quarterfinals online vote - one team representing each of the four different themes advanced to the semifinals. The themes for the semifinals and finals were the same.

Awards Ceremony and Competition Results

December 1(Thu), 2022, 3PM ~ 4PM | KB Kookmin Bank Headquarters(Yeouido)

An awards ceremony was held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM after the fierce and intense final round of the Solveathon. We had the honor of hosting special guests and announcing the esteemd champion of the tournament, concluding the 2022 KB Solveathon.

Overseas Academic Training

2023.02.02 ~ 2.10 | United States of America

The KBJG team, winners of the 2022 KB Solveathon, enjoyed an 8-night, 9-day overseas academic training in the United States as part of their award benefits. As the first Solveathon winners, they met with professionals across various fields in Silicon Valley, Boston, and New York.
